But Palestinians Are Left Out

In 1973 as a U.S. Marine, I spent a significant amount of time deployed in the Suez Canal. Our forces were stationed there, in the aftermath of the Yom Kippur War to ensure Israel's security against Arab aggression.
During that era I had a great deal of respect for the Israeli soldiers. But, this respect has diminished over the years. For, Israel has had more than a few chances to make and maintain a lasting peace with its Arab neighbors.
And here, the Israeli government has another opportunity to make peace with the Palestinians, but are passing once again. For, it wouldn't be difficult to get the Palestinian people vaccinated against the corona-virus on the same timeline as their Jewish population.
For, if Israel foolishly thinks this corona-virus pandemic will wipe out the Palestinian people, they are wrong.
All Israel will accomplish in leaving the Palestinian people out of being vaccinated against the corona-virus is proving, once again, to the world that they are no less brutal and cruel than their ISIS counterparts.

Well, the "lifeboat" part of the political imagination is a powerful thing.

Thank you for your service.
Should the US send vaccine to the Palestinians even though that means that more Americans will die?
Zabaglione
If Israel refuses to, we may have to. why do you ask?

This is a responsibility of the Israeli government. I certainly would not send vaccines earmarked for Americans overseas. However, if Israel does not own up to their obligations in vaccinating those under their control, I would immediately cut off all American aid to Israel.

In 1947, the scholars at Al-Azhar University (The chief scholars in Sunni Islam.) declared holy war to return Palestine to Islamic rule. Therefore, as long as most Palestinians are devout Muslims (85% of Palestinian Muslims want sharia law.) and as long as the Jewish State controls even one square inch of land, peace is impossible.

BChap53, you are seriously ill-informed.
Israel is not responsible for vaccinating the "Palestinians". Hamas and the PA can do that.
Israel is not interested in wiping out "Palestinians". If doing so were the goal, it would've been accomplished decades ago.
They say it takes two to tango. If one person sits down and refuses to dance, then no one will be doing the tango. Back in 2000, Israel offered to Arafat 98% of what he claimed he wanted. Arafat did not make a counteroffer. Instead, he stomped off in a huff and started an intifada.
Since then Israel has made numerous offers. The "Palestinians" keep saying no.

Was that after Israel failed to meet any of their target 5 year obligations to withdraw from 2.5% of the West Bank? we were ready to move the embassy if you did.

Moving the embassy is a matter of law. And Israel doesn't have to keep any agreement that the "Palestinians" violated first.
Zabaglione
Well, a plaque moved, that happened. Jerusalem still isn't legally actually in Israel, legally? Let's clean up that title problem and we all move on.
