Toby Westbury, 52,  from Westlake, Texas was coming back once in 2009 to Las Vegas after his enormous gambling losses in July of 2008.

This time, Toby was bringing along with him his sexy 29 year old girlfriend, Erika, for good luck.

During the flight to Las Vegas, Toby was telling Erika he wanted her to be his good luck charm.  She asked, “How can I do that?”  Toby replied, "Dress sexy, show a lot of cleavage and wear a very tight, very short mini-skirt.”  Erika said, “Toby, just how is that going to make me your good luck charm?”  Toby replied, “The dealer won’t have his mind on his job.”  Erika came back with, “What if the dealer is a woman?”  Toby said, That’s even better.  Most women in those casinos are lesbians.  Toby saw Erika sensually lick her lips.

An hour later, their flight landed safely at Las Vegas’ McCarran Airport.  Toby and Erika had really enjoyed all the comforts and privileges from their plane ride.  Of course, they had been seated in first class.

Toby was, so far, putting on a good show.  He could no longer afford the rich and famous lifestyle after he lost a half-million dollars in gambling.  But, Toby took out a quarter million dollar third mortgage on his home and figured he would fake his rich man status until he could make all his gambling losses back.

Toby and Erika then checked into Vegas’ swankiest hotel.  They had a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas strip at night.

Toby told Erika he was going downstairs to the lobby to do some light gambling.  Erika would be awhile before she could go down to the casino floor.  She wanted to be the perfect femme fatale.  An evil grin took over her face.

Erika strolled around her luxury suite, and marveled at the accommodations provided to her affluent companion.  She had no idea of Toby’s looming financial problems.

In a couple of hours, Erika walked onto the casino floor with a lot of confidence.  She had strategically highlighted her large breasts wearing a black micro-scrunch dainty bikini top.  This surely added to her matching micro-mini skirt, and her thigh-high black mesh nylons.  Her black stiletto heels surely gave her a seductive walk in gaining the attention of both men and women.

While Erika was swaying her hips across the casino floor towards the slot area of the casino, where Toby was located, she suddenly stopped.  She recognized a man from back in Texas playing craps at a high roller table.  She grabbed his hand, and blew on his dice, smiling up at him.  He rolled those dice and won $500,000.  He grabbed her arm.  He wanted her to stay.

But, Toby saw, from a distance, what was going on.  Minutes later, Toby confronted Erika.  He said, “You’re supposed to be with me, Erika.  It’s not polite to blow on another man’s dice.”  Erika said, “You’re lucky Toby that this man’s dice is all I’m blowing.”  Forcefully, Toby pulled Erika away from the high roller craps table.  Toby’s actions did get the attention of the casino’s security staff. They were now keeping a close eye on him and the way he was treating Erika.

As the situation calmed down, Toby took Erika to the high roller blackjack table.  He began betting $5,000 a hand.  Toby was losing hand after hand.

Toby went to the high roller craps tables where all the trouble had begun.  He told Erika to blow on his dice for luck the way she did before with the high roller.  But, it did no good.  And Toby was getting short on money.  He then told Erika to go back over to the same high roller she was with before and start to blow on his dice again, hopefully bringing him good luck.  Toby smiled when he saw that Erika blowing on the man’s dice was once again bringing that high roller a good sum of money.  He was now up on the casino, about 1.5 million.  Toby was hopeful that the high roller would give a cut of that money to Erika.

The high roller did.  But, both him and Erika were nowhere in sight.  He searched the casino floor and restaurants over and over again.  Toby figured the only place they could have gone was up to the high rollers penthouse.  Surely, Toby thought, they were, by now, having sex.

Toby, certainly depressed, headed back up to his suite.  He called the casino cage from his room.  He also called his bank back in Texas.  Both had denied him loans.  Toby only had $300.00 left to his name.  This wasn’t even enough to fly back to Texas.  So Toby went back down to the casino.

He approached the craps tables for beginners.  He placed bets with the lowest house edge and the highest odds.  Although Toby was tempted to put all $300.00 on a potentially big payout, he kept control of himself and made basic bets.  But, it was only a matter of time before Toby was completely broke.  Hotel management took his suite away once they realized he could not pay the bill.  Toby picked up his belongings in a suitcase that security had packed for him and was left at the checkout counter.  Toby went just outside the entry doors to the casino and sat down on the curb.  But, he couldn't even get a rest there.  Security staff had escorted him off the premises.

Toby, now broke and homeless in Las Vegas, was becoming desperate.  He walked down to the  Flamingo Road and the Las Vegas Strip and started begging for money at the intersection.  With a homemade sign, it said, “Casino broke me, need help to get back home.”  Within three hours at the red light, Toby had made nearly $400.00.  He immediately took a cab to the airport, and bought a redeye plane ticket back to Texas.

Over the coming months Toby was working hard to keep his house from foreclosing and paying an extreme amount of bills that Erika had run up on him.

Back in Las Vegas, Erika was living the good life.  But, once blowing on her companions' dice no longer brought him luck, the high roller dumped her for a new inamorata.  Jennifer was a 22 year old model that replaced Erika.

But, Erika had secretly stolen a lot of money from her dice playing professional.  She too came back to Texas, but Erika was now a millionaire.

She came back to Toby, but he didn’t want anything to do with Erika.  She still looked like a Vegas hooker.

However, in spite of this, Erika completely brought Toby out of insolvency.  She also added approximately $100,000 in making sure Toby’s financial comeback would remain stable.

Three days later, after Toby realized that Erika had paid all his bills, she knocked on his front door.  Toby did not know who this woman was.  “I’m Erika”, she said.  She had no makeup on her face, and her attire was very conservative, Texas style.

Toby invited her inside.  Erika was crying.  She said to Toby, "I love you, but I can’t love you.”  Toby asked what she meant.  Erika said, “He gave me HIV.”  Toby said, “Do you mean that high roller guy gave you AIDS!?”  Erika nodded her head, and said, Yes, but it's not full blown AIDS yet.”

In each other's arms they cried, and cried and cried.

But, over the coming years Toby and Erika stayed together.  They were loyal to each other, until at age 71 Toby passed away from prostate cancer.  Erika had previously opened a free clinic and faithfully served the community of Westlake and its surrounding areas of Texas for all who were HIV positive.  Her clinic had become very successful in helping patients as they aged with this deadly disease.

Erika would never marry, and would have no relationships..  She gave her life to God by being saved, and her devotion to her faith never wavered one bit.  However, she did pass away at a relatively young age..
