I fully understand that traditional vaccines where the protein is grown in eggs rely on actual viruses. I also realize these type of vaccines likely take years to develop. In contrast, RNA (Ribonucleic acid) can be made more readily available because it relies on genetic code. Thanks to my son and wife, I'm up to date on all that.
But, I'm very much "old school" with an array of direful experiences from taking vaccines. I just don't trust the majority of them. Couple this with Vice-President Pence's likely pseudo endorsement of these vaccines being both safe and effective, and my resistance to taking these injections only strengthens.
Maybe my mind will change after Joe Biden is inaugurated POTUS, and he, or Vice-President Kamala Harris assures the American people these RNA vaccines are truly both safe and effective.
